  1. the new paul mitchell one. it's really kinda expensive but it's the best straightener it doesn't fry my hair. it straightens it and adds shine. plus it makes my hair super silky.

  2. Yeah i had that exact flat iron and it made my hair horrible even with the sprays and everything. This christmas i got the sedu ceramic flat iron, that you can buy online, and it really really works. I dont use like any protective spray and it still doesnt make my hair horribly damaged. Also, you dont have to worry about your hair getting wavy thruoghout the day, my hair stays straight all day its amazing.

A little more exspensive, but trust me, if you want straight hair that stays then it's so worth it, you'll use it alot more.

  3. Straightening your hair is never the way to go.

Honestly, no matter how much thermal protection you use, you're never going to have perfectly straight hair.

Your ends will continue to break, and you'll waste cans of hairspray trying to flatten down those fly-aways.

I suggest dropping the flat-iron and switching to blow drying your hair straight.

Just use it about 6 inches away from your hair, and dry it brush fulls at  a time.

This will dramatically help reduce fly-aways.

  4. the best straightener in the market is the Sedu! trust me i've used a lot of straighteners and nothing compares to my Sedu. it's lightweight, has temp. control,is used by celebs, made the best straigthener on folica.com, straightens all kinds of hair in half the time of regular straighteners, has ceramic/tourmaline plates to protect hair and give it shine, can curl, flip, and straighten, makes hair smooth shiny silky and straight which lasts until you wash it! i highly recommend this straightener:)
