i would probablty feed it wet food because of it being so young, then as it gets older, start to feed it dry food, although you might want to add a little water so it gets used to it fast.

well personally i think wet food can be quite expensive and dry food tends to be cheaper and sometimes more filling. when my dog was a puppy we introduced her to dry food first, but we also gave her doggie snacks and veggies + fruits (healthy ppl food). we never gave her wet food and she was alrite. but when ur dog is 12 wks old his/her teeth are just coming in, so they chew and bite because it hurts a little bit. i would give ur dog dry food, as well as wet food occasionally (not too often- it should be a treat) but supply your dog with toys or bones that encourage them to chew while teeth come in. hope this helps :]

always wet, because its a puppy! but u can get dry food and then boil water and put it and mush it,
