What is the best free AND safe music download program? ?

i had trouble with limewire and so i looked up on google and i found myself with A LOT of programs, and so i saw frostwire so i downloaded it, but i dont know if its safe, can someone please tell me if it is?? or is there a similar program that works just like limewire or frostwire?? please i would really apreciate it
