I need some advice. I have OpenDNS right now. It's fast, yeah. But, I'm wondering, is it the best?

I need something free. I'm not crazy about DNS, so I won't pay for anything.

Is UltraDNS, does that have a login page where you can block domains?

Im looking for that in a DNS service. Please help..

What's the best free DNS.

Thanks!

  1. I use UltraDNS.  It's fast, not too terribly expensive, and reliable.  They have a very basic management interface, that basically just lets you configure the IP address of your authoritative DNS server.  Every time your DNS info changes, UltraDNS does a zone transfer and starts serving your new data from their servers.  They don't let you change the operation of their servers at all or customize the responses.  So, no, there's no way to block a particular range of IP addresses from resolving your DNS names (is that what you were asking?)
