What is the best game system for an adult?

Question

I have decided to join the gaming generation but can't decide which system is best. Should I get a Wii or XBOX?

1. I don't want to do anyone line gaming

2. Probably do the dumb stupid little games the most

3. use it when my adult children visit

4. maybe use for exercise CD?

I am more than a novice on a computer, so not intimidated by the technology, but just never got into games until now.

Thoughts? Likes, dislikes for each system

No offense but it sounds like you are not a hard core gamer, or concerned with graphics, online, or the processing speed. My personal favorite is the Playstation 3, It is by far the best gaming system out there. But for you I would go with the Nintendo Wii. It has a lot of little fun games, not so much games with a lot of depth. It sounds most suited for your gaming demands! Good Luck! Hope I was of some help to you. i think you would like the Wii.  xbox is known for having really good graphics and really good games like ninja gaiden and what not.

if you are just looking for fun "dumb" games go with the Wii.  plus you can download older nintendo games and such on your Wii.  and you can play Gamecube games on it.
