What is the best gift??

Question

I have a 15 year old son, that is a big fan of aviation, ATC, and planes. What should I get him, somthing like a CB, or somthing.... Somthing cool with an attena or somthing live like that, any ideas? Thanks!

Take him to the local flight training school and see if they'll take him for a ride. I swear, it can be like meth for good kids!

no cb. maybe a receiver for airplane radios. i had one when i was that age and i went to the airport and listen to the tower communicate with the planes. maybe that's a little weak for a 15 yr old ID. flight simulator for the computer i had that too, never got sick of it.

A 15 year old is not eligible to have a pilots certificate due to age.

For Airplanes, you are required to be 17.

If he flew you to Dallas (which I doubt) he was breaking the law.

I think the best gift you could give him is to instill the moral obligation to tell the truth and be a lawful citizen
