  1. Go with Titleist Pro V1's and ProV1x's.

The 1's a little softer for more performance around the green, and the x's are a little bit harder.  The 1's are also a 3 piece ball which means they spin a lot more compared to the x which is a 4 piece ball.  If you move the ball around left and right, or simply hit a hook or a slice, the x will be a better ball because it doesn't spin as much and it wont make your hook or slice as drastic.  The x's will also lower your ball flight off the tee, if you struggle with that.  But Titleist is the # 1 ball in golf for years running.  Sure you could go the cheap rout, but you're only cheating yourself.

  2. w

i forgot teh whole name but it has w all over it

  3. Titleist Pro-V1 / V1x

    Bridgestone B-330   B-330e

    Nike ONEplatinum    ONEblack

    Callaway Tour-i or Tour-ix

    Taylormade - TP red/black

All of these balls are the industry leader in feel, control, and distance. They have two types of covers on top of the same core. And by covers, it is the outer white shell around the core. That is why you have red/black or whatever. One is a distance ball. Which means it doesn't spin as much. The other is a control ball which means its cover is softer and spins more. Each of these balls listed go for about $45 per dozen. I play the Bridgestone e6+ cause it's a good ball and at $25 per dozen I don't feel bad about losing it in the hazard.

  4. the ones everyone else lose. i use new ones if im playing in a tourney but most of the balls in my bag ive found. I might buy a couple dozen balls a year

  5. what's the best ball to play with? the one that YOU like the most. the one that suits YOUR game. don't worry about what tiger or phil plays. the best thing to do is to go and buy a sleeve of each one that you wanna try out and play a round or two with each one. pay attention to the ball flight, feel, distance, spin, etc and you should find a favorite outta the bunch. don't forget the short game as well. see how the ball reacts to pitch shots, chips, bunker shots, and even how it feels when you putt. good luck.

  6. Callaway black

  7. As long as you aren't an expert Nike for the price.

  8. your own

  9. To a point it depends on how good is your game?  Are you a low hdcp?  Are you a high hdcp?  Are you a beginner.  If you're a high hdcp/beginner, at this stage of your game the ball you use won't make a huge amount of difference.  As you get better at playing you will find that you become a little more particular about the ball you use.  A softer ball generally is preferable.  Many have suggested the Pro V's, they're awesome golf balls, but they're top of the line and expensive.   Personally, I like the Titlest NXT Tour.  Its cheaper and nearly as good.   I'd suggest you buy different balls by the sleeve to begin with and once you've found what you like, buy them by the box.
