I want something that will give better distance. I am starting to take up golf, but I am not sure if I will be consistantly doing it, so I don't want to invest in a very expensive driver, and then 2 weeks later lose interest. So, which club would be best to buy for distance at around $50?

  1. Go to your local club and buy a demo. You can usually pick one up for under $100. Also, if they don't have a demo available see if there are any members wishing to sell their used stuff. Ebay if all else fails.

  2. i don;t see you getting a new one at this price. Try to find Adams models from two years ago: The redline is good.

  3. Dude, look on ebay and get last year's Sasquatch Sumo.  You'll have to pay more than 50 bucks, but you can get it for 120 or so.

  4. I would check your local golf warehouse (Roger Dunn, Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy).  Most of these warehouses have used drivers you can buy for less.  I'm not real sure what you can get for $50 but its a great place to try different drivers.  You can find a price range that you are comfortable with and choose accordingly.

    Good luck!!
