What is the best graphic card i could get for gaming on a low budget?

i currently have a HP Pavilion t849.uk which i have already upgraded to have a better processor and also have more RAM i am now looking into getting a better graphics card to improve my gaming.

i have around £100 to spend and was wondering what would be the best graphic card to get to give me max performance for my money.

  1. The GeForce 8800 series of cards is an excellent deal right now.  Great price:performance if you have a pci express slot for it.


  2. the HD 3870 X2 have gone cheap for a dual GPU card

  3. ATi HD3600 series or HD3850 is now cheaper and the performance are good @ http://tecknu.blogspot.com/ However, If u want the best performance u can get HD 3870x2/4850/ 4870. The latest highest end graphic card is HD4870x2.
