it depends on what kind of music you want to play if you want to play hard rock or distorted then an ibanez but if you want to play bluess then a fender strat is the best

Depends on what sound you are looking for...whether you are talking electric, acoustic, or bass and who's playing it I guess. For electics we have 2 fenders.

It really depends what kind of guitar you prefer.  I like the tone of a les paul, very high pitched and good for rock.  The Gibson les paul, although expensive is a really nice guitar.  If you're looking cheaper, try an epiphone.  Fender Strats and SG's are good guitars too and have many different tones.  Most of them are cheaper than les pauls.  Ibanez guitars are pretty cheap and have a really nice tone.  Yamaha also makes a nice guitar with an amazing tone and a low price.  Again, it really depends on which kind of sound you prefer and how much you're willing to spend.  Hope this helps!
