What is the best hair product to keep my hair up and back off my ears?

I am trying to let my hair grow out. It looks fine except for the wings flying around my ears. When I wash my hair and comb it back behind my ears it looks good until it drys. What can I use to make it stay behind my ears when my hair drys?
