  1. Hi Tammy,

I found some interesting TVs that you might like:

    - Samsung LE37A559 retails ar £519,99. 37 inch, Widescreen, LCD, HDTV-compatible, Stereo. -http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pl/2-109264...

    - Sony Bravia KDL-37P3020 retails at £543,12. 37 inch, Widescreen, LCD, HDTV-compatible, Stereo. - http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pl/2-997449...

    - Philips 37PFL7662D retails at £599,95. 37 inch, Widescreen, LCD, HDTV-compatible, Stereo -http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/pl/2-924742...

High definition TV creates images using either 720 or 1080 lines of information. The 720-line format creates all the lines at once using what is known as progressive scan technology (written as 720p) and has a resolution of 1280x720. Progressive scanning gives a very smooth image which is good for fast-moving footage. The 1080 version is usually interlaced (so is written as 1080i) and has an overall resolution of 1920x1080. There is a progressive scan 1080 specification (1080p) but it’s very rare indeed.

    Hope it helps!

  2. Panasonic PZ100.Plasma.

A great tv the best for the money...Pioneer  are the kiddies but are twice as dear.Go for the Panasonic the new PZ100 has built in HD free view.

I've got a 42inch the pictures are great through my PlayStation 3,blu ray pictures are awesome and everyday tv pictures are as good as they get.

    A great all round performer.

Oh yeah plasma beats LCD the pictures look more real and have greater depth. And you won't get eye strain

Check the prices on the internet should be reasonable.

  3. If you don't want to get a screen larger than 37" then stick to LCDs. Plasmas are better for 37" or more. If you have HD programmes to watch then get a full HD set i.e. 1920x1080 resolution. If you are only going to be watching normal SD content then don't get a full HD set.

Therefore the best HD tv to buy would be the Panasonic PZ37LZD85. If you want to spend even less money, then you won't be able to get a 37" tv that is any good or full HD. You would need to go for a 32" tv. Therefore a good 32" LCD tv is the Samsung LE32A455C1D for £395. The SAMSUNG LE32A559P4F is a better quality Samsung than the previous one and costs around £499.

The panasonic that was mentioned by the previous answer that has built in HD tuner for Freesat is actually the Panasonic PZ81 series and only comes in 42", 46" and 50". It's a great tv.

If you need help in buying a tv I highly recommend this site:

    http://plasmaorlcd.co.uk/productreviews....

Send them an email, they will tell you what you need specific to your needs plus will often find discounted deals for you. Worth a try anyway.

    Hope that helps!
