I was thinking of getting Tresemme as a lot of my stuff are Tresemme and someone once told me that you should try and keep all your products from the same brand or is that just a marketing trick? What product would you recommend to protect hair from heat when straightening and curling?

  1. Toni&Guy Protein Protection Spray.

  2. vo5  heat styling serum worked the best for me ! I've tried others but nothing has been as good as that so far

  3. I think GHD heat protecter is the best. It smells nice.

  4. go to sallys hair and beauty either their store or on line.

clynol flatter...... not only an amazing heat protection but it has anti humidity agents!!!!

you can get it in salons but you will be paying that bit extra for it, you can also get the rusk one there but i dont know what that is like.

  5. I use the tresemme heat protection spray it works for my hair and can also be used as a leave in conditioner and it doesn't small bad, it can be used on wet/damp hair or on dry hair before using any type of heat product its terrific.

  6. I've recently started using Rusk Thermal Str8 flat iron spray, it comes in an orange tin, its quite pricey at £9.50 but its really good. It has a really nice smell, and is not really heavy on your hair or sticky, it leaves your hair really soft and also has shine in it too, so it really does leave your hair nice and protects it well from the heat from your hairdryer or straighteners, curlers etc. Try it, you'll love it! I've tried Tony and Guy and other products but just find they are too heavy on my hair and you can feel that your hair has product in it, but this one doesnt!
