I could contact Education Queensland for more information regarding the government run high schools and the Independent School Association for private schools.  You also do not mention whether it is for a male or female student so that may limit your choice.

Brisbane State highschool, Kelvin Grove i have heard is one of the best. local area highschools eg. indooroopilly, centenary, forrest lake, kenmore etc..

depends what you are looking for, all these schools have different strong aspects they pride themselves in.

St Peters at Indoorpilly is excellent it is a private school and is mixed my nephews go there and love it. as well as the other schools that have been mentioned you may wanna visit www.ourbrisbane.com its the brisbane city website they have a list of schools also visit the education dept of queensland they will diffinately be able to tell you the information you wanna know.

I went there and it was great
