What is the best home party to host?

I live in NJ and have had a party lite party already and have been to tastefully simple party and a few others. What is the best type of party to have for a group of 25 to 30 year olds?

I'm 29 I recently had some scrap gold jewelry that I wasn't sure what to do with until my sister invited me to her gold party.   We all dressed in cool gold outfits snacked on cheese and wine.  I took my gold neclaces, 2 rings and some silver just to have it looked at and I was shocked when I got $525 for everything. I had taken the same items to a local jewelry shop and was quoted only $400, which I almost took. Glad I waited!! We had a ball at her party, the Gold Reps that ran her party where very professional but fun. They paid her an extra 15% of the total purchased items. She not only got cash for her own gold but the reps paid her an extra $750 just for hosting the party. Needless to say I have since booked my own gold party.
