  1. it depends how bad the burn is.  if it is not blistered, but some aloe Vera on it.

    Based on other responses here, there seems to be a strong consensus that aloe helps both relieve the discomfort of, and help in healing, sunburn.  Gel is often easiest to find in stores - and adheres well to skin as it dries - but you can also use the juice from splitting the leaves of the live plant if you have it around.  A (warning: possibly gross) photo:

  7. Pour some apple cider vinegar (~1 cup) in bath water and soak in it.  It soothes the skin and helps with the pain.

    If you do not have apple cider vinegar int he house, you can use baking soda in place of it in your bath water.  It also can help soothe the skin.
