Im looking to buy a in the box home theater system, I had a 5 disc changer Panasonic, and it produced pretty good sound for what it was, but the biggest beef I ever had with it was the audio for diologe was always out matched by the special effect audio and I had hard time listening.

Now I know with in the box, your giving up some quality but right now I can't afford a real home theater unit and quite frankly Im not sure I have the room for one.

So my question is, what is a quality in the box home theater system on the market right now where diologe audio won't be an issue? Thanks

  1. I love my Philips Hts-3555 for only $200 and it has HDMI.

  2. Bose is definetly the best surround system out there. It works perfectly fine with music, movies or games.

  3. You can try Panasonic SCPT650..It is a good home theater system .And it is on sale now, a decent deal for it is only $200 instead of $300.

  4. bose or sony

  5. Everyone hears things different.  I bought a yamaha system as a high school graduation present in 2005.  I am in the process of upgrading to Klipsch speakers but plan on keeping the receiver.  If you plan on upgrading down the road get a system with a good receiver.

  6. Sony Dav-fx500, this is what i have and it wokrs great. the price is very reasonable too.

  7. htib being what they are the competition is pretty loose. most brands will generaly put out the same quality. your price differences will mostly be brand choices and a few differing features. best for you to go to your local electronics store and demo a couple of models and features then see which one fits your budget and your taste.
