  1. you need to own at least 5 of the horses in a six horse race..OR....own a good 3 y.old in a 2y.old race !!!!

  2. on betfair, lay outsider of 3

  3. "Systems" can be a very freely interpreted word. For instance backing number 12 in the big handicap of the day is a system..not very good, but a system.

Here is a system that you can look at,cogitate on and decide if it is worth doing. If you follow it and do not gamble or deviate, you just might Make Some Money, which, I suppose it what you are after.

Consider only All Age Condition Races (Non Handicaps) but NOT sellers or races run on the silly (all weather) tracks. No more than TEN runners (forecast-not count withdrawals) Back the FORECAST FAVOURITE as long as the Forecast Price is EVENS or better. Use the "Racing Post" forecast.

(Wall sheets in bookies sometimes inexplicably differ from actual paper)

Staking Plan: Use ONE TENTH your bank stake on each horse. i.e. Start with £100. First horse bet £10 to win. If it loses then Bank is £90 so £9 win on next runner. If win at say 2-1 bank would be £108 so stake on 3rd bet would be £10.80 and so on. When you get to a £200 bank, withdraw your original Stake (£100) start all over again USING OTHER PUNTERS MONEY. (Not the bookies money,he is just the in between man taking his percentage).

Hope you will make much Kudos with this help.!!!!

  4. Gave up Gambling ten years ago, worked for a local bookmaker and you should see the state of some of the punters. He ran a large new car, Lived in a large private house and wore designer clothes. Most of the gamblers couldn't afford a pair of cheap trainers. Some of them gambled to get more money to gamble(true).

  5. Be a bookie.

  6. you would have to spend a lot of time studying, what type of ground they like,do they run well on a particular racecourse,,is the trainer in form at the time you are betting, what Jockey is riding him, their speed ratings on that course as against the other horses and then hope you have a little luck as well, also don't bet every day pick 3 or 4 every week, win or lose dont bet on any more, its hard enough to make money

  7. keep your money in your pocket, that's my advice, there is only one winner and it isn't you!!

  8. I've only ever bet on one certainty,..............................

    ..........and that came 2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  9. The big black dog system - oh sorry you said horse racing....

Apparantly it's been proven during races such as the Grand National that women tend to win more because they choose their horse simply by its name and don't follow form.  At the end of the day it really is just a game of luck anyway!
