What is the best hotel in Costa Rica on the beach?

Do not go to the Best Western in Jaco on the beach - the great majority of rooms are very old and moldy - NOT a place you want to sleep at night!  We took a group and 3 of us had to change rooms and still didn't like our rooms much!  At least we didn't spend much time in them!

There was a Marriott at which we stayed on the Pacific Coast while there on vacation in 2005 that was very nice.  It was just north of the village of Jaco.
