or you could go about 80 miles south and stay in a small town called Playa del Carmen....it is the BEST!!!

I just got back from Cancun and stayed at the Royal. It's the most amazing all inclusive hotel i've stayed at. Depends on what ur looking for though, it's an adult only resort and cancun's only 5 diamond.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun---it has everything! trust me, i stayed there for a week when i went with my family; they have so many activities for children, teens, and adults (!)

they even have scheduled tourist activities (extra money :/). You can go visit Tulum (pyramids), Xel-Ha, Xcaret, the local mercados, go scuba diving, take a trip to the underground rivers, etc.

and don't forget, the best part about Cancun is the white sandy beaches, with the clear, WARM and light-blue water (:

Depends what you're after, Riu palace is central & good quality

Moon Palace is absolute luxury - a bit further out

Blue Bay getaway is an 'adult' hotel (I think there are open 'adult' activities going on in this one)
