What is the best internet provider for the west end of Glasgow?

I'm going to be moving flat soon and am using Tiscali at the moment as my Isp. But It's kinda slow and sucks....

I'm looking for faster internet speeds and don't really mind about price.

But I'm mainly looking at Sky or Virgin for my broadband :)

Anyone got any experience or knowledge?

sky only ever causes trouble and Virgin is one of the fastest available, over twice as fast as sky.

I use Virgin and i like it, my mum tried to get sky and they messed her about so shes now got virgin also.
