What is the best item to sell and way to make money on ebay?

The first step is to do your research. If you go to the 'Buy' section in eBay, at bottom of the page there are a number of links where you can research what are the top products and searches. For example the eBay Pulse section shows you the most popular items that people are looking for on eBay and you can drill-down  and see popular items by category - which is very useful. Also look at closed listings to see what has sold well, which items got  people bidding etc.  For more tips checkout:

Research what's on there.. something everyone is in need of. Set it up, no reserve and whatch them spend away! You almost always meet your reserve and stay in line for shipping with other people.. people always want low shipping. Even if you are 40 cents lower.  it's better than the guy who isnt! Good Luck!
