What is the best job to work with a cdl?

It depends on what your endorsements are and what your goal is.  Everything commercial requires a cdl.  A "B" endorsement certifies you for single frame vehicles like small vans, delivery trucks and most moving vans, etc.  The wages are at the bottom of the scale.  CDL-A certifies you for anything with air-brakes and puts you into simple semi's used for generalized shipping.  The majority of drivers fall into this class.  A bus endorsement will put you in a bus.  These are at the middle of the pay scale for truckers.  If you want the big bucks then you start with tanker endorsements and explosives, which pays at the top of the scale with the ice truckers along the Arctic Circle.  You don't get to be an ice-trucker without a few years of open highway under your belt.  Delivery trucks keep you at home while open road can keep you away from home for extended periods of time.  Go to work for somebody that has group insurance and retirement plans.  Companies with high turnovers have high turnovers for a reason.  Avoid working for them.
