What is the best kayak for an intermediate/advanced kayaker?

I started kayaking about two years ago and have been going on the river at least two days a week since then (when possible, i live in snow country). I'm pretty sure I want a freestyle boat, because that is mostly what my kayak program focuses on, and what I enjoy the most. What type of boat would be best?
