What is the best kind of backyard smoker to purchase? (For both taste and price)?

We love our BIG GREEN EGG, the meals my husband has made on it were incredible!

They can be pricey, we found ours used on eBay.  It was well worth the price!

I just looked at the BGE and WOW! I never heard of it before, I think hands down this has to be money well spent. It also caused me to think of a new way of smoking, Take a large pressure cooker and line the bottom with wood chips lay a rack above the chips and place the meat on the rack and put the lid on it and set the pot in a bed of hot coals, between the wood chips smoking, steam from the meat and pressure from the pot, it might work, I need a rack to try this, Heck you might see me on the food network with Rachael Ray or you,
