What is the best kind of foundation to cover up acne scars?

The best advice I can give is to focus on getting rid of the scarring instead of choking off the healing with goop on your face.

Try Philip Thomas Roth's product (can't remember the name of course) that uses glycolic acid to even out tone and surface.

oil-free acne foundation from neutrogena

it's made for skin with acne problems. It won't irritate your skin at all :)

Bare Minerals. it looks like u have nothing on when u use it...and it covers up good. but if u have really bad acne don't use cover up use proactive.

I don't use foundation, so I wouldn't know.. BUT this is what I do:

I use Revlon colorstay blemish concealer on my acne scars. That helps a lot covering them up and it has salicylic acid at the same time. Then I use powder foundation on entire face, which works really good. I use Maybelline Purestay powder foundation.

To cover up acne I'd use concealer really. I use lancome and it works brilliantly.

At the same time i'd use a mask to help you get rid of the scars.

If you dont like masks then dermalogica have a gel which is good.
