What is the best kind of grass for a place with car traffic?

Hello everyone! Is there any kind of grass which can resist parking. I have to park my car in the grass since I do not have a garage...Thank you for sharing your expertise!

  3. crab grass. Its like a weed. Gross grass if you ask me. It'll grow in dry soil and wont go away unless you have some kind of de-weeder. It doesnt look to pretty, but its green non-the-less.

We really need to know the part of the country you live it do determine that.What i would suggest for my area would not stand a snow balls chance in other parts of the country.ok in Florida your best bet i think would be one of the bahias..either pensacola or argentine both are good high traffic grasses, thats to answer your question as to which is the best to put down but remember its grass, wear and pounding will take its toll. These can be seeded but i would recommend sod...pensacola is used quite abit along the highways and by ways...give the Palmer boys a call at Palmers feed store downtown Orlando.,or call Tom McCubbin (spelling may be off) your Orange County Extention agent ..good luck
