What is the best kind of hands free phone for the home?

My friends or my mom always call me when I'm at home doing my art. They don't seem to understand this is my work so they yak yak yak. I would like to be able to have my hands free and keep working while they are yaking. Speaker phones aren't good though because they sound so tinny. What other kind of phone could I get?

well, you could get a blue-tooth headset ( ear clip) for your home phone....but your home phone must be blue-tooth ready!!
