  1. I prefer the Nolan N102 for south central texas riding in the middle of summer. It has vents that actually work, to let air in from the front and exhaust it out the back.  The folks as t web bike world test all sorts of things They tested a JOE ROCKET sahara vest.

I have used the neckwraps and can say yes, these work, and are a bargain.

They also tested the SILVER-EAGLE (sounds like a grey hound bus!) cooloing vest, too.

And for the grand finale, the web bike world Motorcycle Clothing page.

  2. Get a flip face helmet so at low speeds you can have it open all the way: Shoei make an expensive but excellent one: but there are many cheaper alternatives (Nolan, KBC etc)

Dri Rider and a few others make mesh jackets with removable body armour. They have a zip in wet weather liner and also a winter liner. They are a bit bulky with all the liners but I wear it with just the mesh and keep the wet liner under my seat for emergencies.

Wear one of the Kevlar lined cotton trousers: some have zip off lower legs that turn them into cargo shorts.

  3. ill make it easy and cheap for you--JPCYCLES.COM.thay have everything and more you will love there catolog.

  4. I would recommend a full face helmet, due to safety, I have been riding for several years if FL and it is very hot there. I would buy a mesh jacket that has a liner. You can get them from Icon or Alpinestar and the bike brands usually have them to. Gloves come in short to the wrist and over the wrist as well, I have two different kinds. Short not leather ones, made from a type of nylon that has the hard plastic nuckles for safety. For dressing underneath I reccomend under armor or the same type of material. You can actually get a cheaper brand at wally world, but you can get the kind that keeps you dry and I even wear the long sleeve kind in the summer sometimes because it keeps my arms from sticking.

  5. Oh don't use any at all, the ambulance has air conditioning

  6. Get one of thse helemnts that arent the full face but just the top. It looks like a classic one from the 60's but they keep you cool. You can get them at harley davidson.

  7. Which ever one you choose remember this:

It's better to be a hot head than a dead head!

  8. With keeping the full protection of a full face helmet, you just want to look for a helmet that has air vents along the top of the hlemet and by the mouth.  This doesn't exactly cool you, but keeps the air circulating.

There are a variety of mesh cycle jackets out there that allows the air to breathe through to the body.  You feel cooler as you ride and you won't sweat as a much.

Search up the internet for cooling vests for motorcycles.

  9. I went with the Tourmaster mesh jacket. It has 3 removable layers so you can take away or add as needed. I am hot natured and can not stand for my head to get to hot. I went with the Gmax 68s helmet, That thing scoops up the air and really keeps my head cool. The only down side is that it is a little loud. Especially at higher speeds when you get down close to the windscreen but plugs or and MP3 player fix that.

  10. get a ventilated full face for safety reasons (+ it looks cooler).. when your riding you dont notice a difference at all and when ur not riding just take it off ;)
