I was thinking either some kind of gecko or anole, because they look cool and are small. I want a lizard that is easy to care for, and doesn't take up too much space. I probably won't be handling it a lot, but maybe a little. Feeding live crickets, might be hard, but I could do prekilled bugs and mice. I don't want it to be too expensive, but price isn't a huge issue.

  1. id go for a gecko, they dont need to be handled much, dont have many special requirements and are easy to care for, they are a lot easier than anoles who need very specific living conditions

  2. get a bearded dragon. they are very easy to care for.

they are very docile and RARELY bite.

for a caresheet on beardies, go to:

  3. iguanas are cool but you said you dont want something too big so id go with a crested gecko ar leopard gecko

  4. Leopard gecko

very easy to care for and not very expensive

  5. Get an anole, a gecko has to have specific living conditions.

  6. i would recomend getting a bearded dragon. they are very easy to take care of and are realitivly cheap. they can get to be 1 1/2 to 2 feet but they are very docile and LOVE to be buy humans. they love all the attention. a 40 gallon tank is minamum. if you get an adult beadie which are very easy to find their diet is 80% veggies and 20% insects so really you would only need to feed them insects about 1-2 times a week! and if you get an adult you really dont have to worry about handling them ALOT becuase someone else help them with being docile if you get a baby you would have to handle it aon a daily basis to insure it not being mean.

  7. you could get a crested gecko they are nice , pretty fun to watch they climb on windows .they can eat bugs(crickets or waxworm) +  baby food (apricot) but you can also buy only crested gecko diet that is a powder mix with water. its a complete crested gecko diet. you can handle them but they are jumpy and unpredictable.here are some care sheet:
