I have a go kart which has a 4-stroke 250cc displacement 22mm carburetor 7000 rpm output engine in it (carter interceptor 250 gtr) it sat for about 4 or 5 months while a wheel was being repaired which i suspect caused the fuel lines/system to get a little dirty now it won't run too well without the choke, backfires sometimes and stalls sometimes there a thousand different kind of additive cleaners that sound the same to me cause i don't know any better so which one would be the best for me? thank you

  1. Seafoam is great stuff.Try it.Just follow the directions on the can

  2. I have never heard of anyone having much luck with any of those chemicals cleaning a carb by just adding it to the tank.  Your best bet is to buy some berrymans b-12 chemtool in a spray can pull the carb and carefully spary all of the gunk and funk from all of the little holes and crevices in the carb.  The easy fix just never works.
