  1. i think Corn snake would be the best choice. it's a good snake for beginner very docile and tolerate handling. they are easy to care for and they come in various colors.I havev a baby corn snake since 3 weeks and he's very nice and never try to bite.

here are some care sheet on corns to give you a idea.:

  2. get a really small one since you have never had one before. I dont know any kinds of snakes but get a non poisonous small one

  3. ball python

  4. ball python...best if you get it as a baby

  5. a baby ball python, they are cute and not very viscous

  6. It all really depends on you. Have you researched snakes? Do you have a certain budget to stick with? Is there a size limit?

A good snake as far as I've heard is a ball python. They don't get huge, but they do eat pinkies and such, and some people don't like that. Ball pythons require a pretty decent sized cage, talk to a pet store person to help you with picking the right size.

    Have fun and Good luck!

  7. For a first time snake owner kingsnakes, cornsnakes, and milksnakes all make good pets.  A lot of pet shops will tell you that ball pythons make good first time snakes but they really don’t…ball pythons take specific humidity requirements and ball pythons can go on really long hunger strikes (like for a year) which by the end of it both snake and owner are stressed out.  kings, corns, and milks can tolerate handling and don’t need a whole lot of humidity.  And they are usually docile snakes.

    Good luck!

  8. I have a baby Ball python. Its starts out small and eats mice. But make sure when you give your snake food you take him out of his cage and into a box. Then feed him.Cuz if you give him food in his cage he will think when he sees your hand theres food and he may jump up and strike at you when you want to pick him cuz he thinks you have food.

If you put him in the box he'll know that you are trying to pick him up when you put your hand in his cage.Cuz he'll no that he only gets food in the box.Oh ya as soon as we got our snake he was sheding so we couldn't touch him. You'll hes sheding when his eyes turn cloudy and his skin starts lifting off.

    Hope this helped!

  9. That depends on you and what you're ready to handle. Some people start out with burmese pythons or reticulated pythons as their first snake. Two snakes which are not commonly thought of as good beginner snakes.

The usual recommendation is for corn snakes (http://pet-snakes.com/corn-snakes) and ball pythons (http://pet-snakes.com/ball-pythons) but again it depends entirely on you and what you can handle.
