What is the best kind of snow sled for 9 -12 year olds?

Intertube, foam, wood, saucer?? Looking for something fun, but yet safe. Thanks!

Oh boy, they are all fun... the faster the better. The foam and saucer tend to be fastest.  Make sure the kids wear a good helmet at least when sledding.

My kids always liked the saucer...the whole spinning thing adds another dimension!
