  1. depends what you want to use the hard liquor for.  if you want to spend $40+ for a bottle, go for it, but you better drink it strait, otherwise what's the point of spending the $$$?  If you are mixing it in a cocktail, i would recommend the mid-range stuff, usually $15-20 a bottle.

vodka: Grey Goose is supposed to be one of the better more common brands, but i personally haven't tried it... Smirnoff is good enough to be a base for my mixed drinks.

rum: I use bacardi for mojitos and other lesser flavored drinks, and just a cheep spiced stuff for rum & coke.

    beer:

too many brands, but lately i have really like Grolsh.

  2. vodka- grey goose, or if you like flavored then absolute pear

rum- captain morgan original spiced rum...mmmmm.

beer- (in order) blanche de bruxelles, blue moon, shiner bock, bud light with an olive.

  3. All vodka is the same. Vodka, by definition, is colorless, tasteless and orderless. Therefore, all vodka is the same. As for rum, the best is Havana Rum. Not available in the US and A.

  4. Vodka: Ketel one, Belvedere and of course grey goose

    Rum: Mt. g*y rum

Beer: Stella, bud light, and corona

  5. the alcoholic kind.

  6. For vodka, choose either Grey Goose or Finlandia. They go down smoothly and don't burn your throat like the other vodka brands.

  7. Vodka:  Grey Goose

Beer: Bud Light or Miller Light

    Rum:  Captain Morgan

that's just my opinion though  =]

  8. Cheaper vodkas burn really bad, and Smirnoff is the worst I've tried for that. Avoid unless you're mixing.
