What is the best lane position to be in when getting ready to make a left turn?

What is the best lane position to be in when getting ready to make a left turn?

I am going out on a limb and say the left lane ??????

um in the left lane if there is one.  and be in it about 150 to 200 feet before getting to where you need to turn.

Depends... is one or two lanes allowed to turn left...

If two, i would take the inside lane, personnal preference.

If only one lane turns, then you take that one, the left one.
