What is the best laptop brand?

I'm in the process of buying a new laptop for school and I was wondering what brand would be the best: Acer, Compaq, Dell, HP, LG, Sony, or Toshiba

  1. Dell, and any japanese ones like toshiba/sony are alright too.

    just make sure it's not made in china, anywherrrre but china.

    I have a dell inspiron and it's awsome ^_^

  4. don't even think of buying HP, Dell, Compaq, Acer.

    Asus or Toshiba is OK. Asus is much better than Toshiba.

    i don't know much about LG or Sony.
