What is the best laptop for $800-$900?

Dell are very reasonable in price for what you get but it depends on what the laptop will be used for

I recommend Acer brand.  I bought myself one and love it to death. It works great.  I got it at best buy, and it was about $600.  My friends say Acer is the best as well.

I have a dell too that I got for about $800 but I don't like it too much.

My husband has a Toshiba and I really don't like it.
