1. Not an apple.

I need it for itunes, I have pictures ( not to many ), AIM, Web browsing, maybe a few games that i may wana have like roller coaster tycoon and maybe even try WOW ( not sure ), And i would like to also have space for a anti-virius softwear, and other applications like firefox, etc. Also some word progressing.

Not that i HATE apple, but for me and school Windows would be better. Apple is fine just at this moment i would prefer windows.

Thank you for your support into getting me the right notebook.

  1. lenovo and toshiba are the most reliable and best for school especially lenovo. DO NOT buy a dell unless its a dell latitude or dell vostro

  2. Hey there.

Go for something with a core 2 duo processor

    2Gb RAM

120Gb hard drive or more, though 80Gb would do but if you have a faster running laptop, they tend to have more hard drive space anyway.

Dedicated graphics card would be helpful if you're gaming

Pretty much any laptop is wireless enabled nowadays, so you'd just need a router for the laptop to pick up a connection. If not, mobile broadband is fab and gets laptops cheaper

Showing a couple just for prices etc, though looking around places is good, find the best price and then PC World will price match it and take a bit more off, found that's a pretty safe bet on getting best priced.

  3. I just got a new laptop. It is a Dell Inspiron 1525. It has a large sreen, will support all of those programs and can cost less than $600 depending on how you configure it at Dell's site. You can even get it woth some of the programs you are talking about.

Here is the link to this laptop
