What is the light pickup with the best gas mileage? Looking for trucks similar to a Toyota Tacoma with years from 1998-2004. thanks.

the Toyota or the Nissan or the Chevy s-10 ,s get the best mileage,anything with now with a 4 cylinder or a small v-6 will do good on gas,i think Nissan has most of them beat though on gas mileage,some of the ford rangers do really good on gas also,and i have seen some of the dodge Dakota,s do pretty good on gas,if you stay with a 4 cylinder though on about anything you,ll get some pretty good mileage,good luck.

nissan pick-ups witht the 22r 4 cylinders get better gas mileage than any truck out their and very reliable or a dodge dakota with v6 or v4 or chevrolet colorado the I5 engine

find somthing diesal. 40 to 50 plus a gal. i had an old nissan diesal ran it on biodesal.1.50 a gal 55 mile a gallon no engine mods= best bet
