  1. Water is best, it is what the plants need. Any minerals that are in ground water are good.

Th juices contain sugar that the plants make for themselves and is bad in the soil.(grows bacteria nad draws insects) The gatorade has salts too that would be too much for plant seeds.

  2. The best 'Liquid' for bean growth is water and water only .

    Why ?

This is because bean plants are accustomed to use plain water for their growth .

Besides , minerals that it can absorb from the soil dissolve quickly in plain water and are taken up by the plant .

All the liquids that you have mentioned will certainly cause harmful micro-organism to grow in the vicinity and do more harm to the plant .

In my opinion it is a weird experiment and you will not get any reference on the net about it .

EDIT = No I hve no plausible reason for it but I still doubt if it can continue to grow like that for long . Orange juice has good water content . That has helped initially .

But the growth of micro-organisms will win ultimately .

Edit No. 2 = orange has greater water content so when orange juice is poured in the soil , the bean plant could easily absorb it and the minerals from the soil . This has sustained the plant . But Finally the other things like sugar in the juice will be detrimental to its growth as they will cause pathogenic bacteria to flourish in the soil .
