I'm curious about advertising psychology and buying habits. Does anyone know the statistics associated with ppc advertising? What is the best location on the page to place the adds? next to photo? close to the left? or right? after a small intro to an article? I'm mostly interested in if people click adds on the left or right side of the page more often.

  1. Firstly, it is a question that is very important to answer before you embark on your online business journey.

Top of the page between 10-40% from top and 20-80% from the right. 80% of statistics are in this region.

If you want to see how people do it on the web using advertising etc then head over here:

  2. Research has shown that peoples eyes travel across a computer screen in an "F" pattern. People start in the top left, and the look at everything from top left to top right, as well as top left to bottom left, and then to a lesser extent from middle left to middle right.

The bottom right of a screen is a complete dead zone, as is the bottom middle.

  3. I know that placing ads on your page is a way to make money but it is a bad marketing strategy. Anything that takes your potential customers away from the site is competition. There is this new site that is going to launch within the next 24 hours that is an amazing way to get tons of traffic to your site. Check it out www.RankFirstPro.com
