What is the best look for window treatment?

I am thinking of ordering cellular blinds for my livingroom for some privacy in the evening and would like to just have side panel drapes on each side. The opening consists of 3 windows side by side and is about 110 inches wide. I would need 3 individual blinds each with an inside mount because of the structure. That is the only thing that would work. Does it matter that the blind's header will show all the time,or would it be better to hide the open blind headers with a valance? I would prefer only the side drapes, but didn't know what is acceptable. Any advice would be appreciated....thanks..
