I am new to hairpin lace and I am looking for a great loom to get started on. What loom do you recommend? I am currently looking at the Clover Hairpin Lace loom. I like the idea that it has the prong in the middle to keep your stitch centered. But I wanted to know if you have tried the Clover loom and what you thought of it or if there is another hairpin lace loom that you think is better.

Plus if you know of any sites that have a great patten in Hairpin lace could you please let me know

Thanks,

  1. Bravo for trying hairpin lace! I made a beautiful stole years ago and joining is easy . I have tried several kinds of looms, but don't remember the name. They are all basically the same.I have used the 3 inch wide loom the most . The afghans I have seen are beautiful especially when joining complimentary colours together with a crochet hook. Here is a link for you to check out some patterns. Good luck with your project!
