there is not best martial art, The best martial art is which ever one amplifes your natural strenghts while covering or making up for your weakness.

mexican judo, what good is it if you got a por sense of balance and/or are 130 lbs? but are a super strike with pin point acurracy? then you should take up a style that is more offensive and agressive like, shotokan karate, or if you good with  your legs, to that sense too, it could be tae-kwon-do or Muay Thai.

In Japan and most of east Asia being a martial artist will help you get a lot of @ss, thing is, only if you're among the best.  Generally, Japanese women, I know, prefer Karate and Judo champs over even professional athletes and rock stars, because dudes who are good fighters have a reputation for treating women better, and for being better lovers than either pro athletes or rockstars who as the stereotype goes are "users," but who can't satisfy a woman worth a d**n.

Everywhere else in the world though, even if you can punch through metal most chicks will not consider you anything special just on the basis of THAT.

Most women find physically fit confident men attractive irregardless of their looks or any fighting skills.

Natural selection has more to do with it than concious choice we only think we make the decision.

Sorry, but I don't find the martial arts, or the artists inviting at all. I know the audience for this is,  internationally,  very large though. I do have a very deep appreciation and sense of respect for those who are skilled at it.  I think it's pretty safe to say that in my group of friends, family, and every male that I've ever liked, or had as a boyfriend, I am the only one that doesn't care for any of the different forms of martial arts, while they all were interested in them.  I guess I am the odd ball here.  Cheers!  Jennifer
