  3. It is best to use any bag, whatever it is made of, that you already have. Use cardboard boxes that are available at the shop.

If you have to buy bags, then Hemp and Hessian bags. Willow shopping baskets.

If you are going to use cotton, then use organic cotton such as this string bag here. There are much lower environmental costs with organic cotton. See link.

  10. HEMP

  11. canvas or hemp fibre the best would be hemp fibre as you would be supporting a small grow operations {HAHA} there are many local farms that grow the hemp under licence so you are supporting local businesses

  12. Cotton, Locally grown Cotton can be replenished yearly. Local people can be paid to use their land to grow Cotton. Local people could run local factory to change Cotton into fabric. Which local people could sew into bags. Sell them locally and when they rip, mend them; when they get soiled, wash them, when you tire of them lay them on the ground and watch them become compost to grow more Cotton.

  13. i would second the hemp, only problem is when you smoke it you increase air pollution which increases global warming which melts the polar ice caps which makes the oceans rise which floods the land with salt water which causes the hemp to die..which in that case would negate hemp as an alternative which would cause me to pick plastic salt water won't kill it
