  1. There is no "best" medication. Everyone is different, and what suits someone else won't work for you. I tried about 25 before my psychiatrist tried Effexor, which works for me, but not at lower doses. It was well worth the wait. You need to talk to your doctor about this.

  2. I'd suggest Valium.

  3. There is no best. It depends on the individual.

However I will say to stay away from things like Zanax, vicodin, valium and anything addictive.

  4. It depends on the degree of depression.

If you are constanly depressed and getting anxiety/panic attacks the best advice would be to go and see your GP.

For mild depression/anxiety St. Johns Wort is widely recommended.  The price and strength varies.

Holland and Barrett sells various herbal remedies that is valerium based that can help with mild anxiety and depression. Kalms is probably one of the best know.  However, I find Quiet Life is very good at helping to control mild anxiety symptoms and helps you to sleep if you having problems with mild insomnia. They have very little (if any) adverse side effects on most people.

Please note I i keep emphasing mild.  If you are suffering moderate to severe symptoms, then please go and see your GP (I cannot emphasie that enough).  They are the professional and there are loads of anti-depressant and other therapys that are available.  Also, get active, do plenty of excercise and do things that you enjoy.

    Good Luck

  5. Go to your doctor- he can advise you very well. There are also many different types of depression. It's best to sort it out form the experts as soon as possible.

If not, check it out on the internet!

  6. It differs between individuals. Let your doctor find the best one for you.

Valium (Diazepam) is addictive and not often first choice.

  7. From what I've heard Zoloft has helped many people giving you nutrients while treating depression, and you might wanna go to a dr. to actually calculate the right medication, lots of them contains side effects so you might just go through with talking to a doc first.

  8. love,care,and cuddles.

  9. taking time to find out witch one it is anxiety or depression?talking with therapist or family someone who you know and has half and idea of what your going threw as individual don't take nothing that will make you feel as if you depend on it as a crutch or need could just been threw bad experience just deal with it or get over it

  10. for a short term medication - it's up to the gp

on the long term - life style is the best strategy (like any illness, it can be dealt with with healthy diet, exercise, social life and work xx)

  11. weed works well:P until you come off it of course
