I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroid and lost my Health Insurance before I could be prescribed medication.

I would like to know the best medicine and any side effects or In what ways and how much better anyone has felt after taking it...Also dosages (I'm male and 220 plus often fatigued...)

Thank you..

I may also be looking for a reliable online drug company to purchase it...

  1. Because you have asked about 'the best' medicine and asked about side effects, I wonder if the hypothyroidism has not been explained very well. Your thyroid makes a hormone called thyroxine (also known as T4 or thyroid hormone). When your thyroid is undreactive, you just need to take extra thyroxine. So the 'medicine' is exactly what would be in your system anyway.

But an important thing is that you can't guess what dose you will need - each person will need a different dose and this can take months to get sorted out. The only way to tell the dose is correct is to monitor the levels in the blood. It is dangerous to take thyroxine without doing this. It should only involve a few brief medical visits and you shouldn't need to see a specialist, it would just be a few blood tests.

If you get the dose wrong and take too little, the hypothyroidism will not be treated and will probably get worse. If you take too much, you will lose too much weight, feel rough and can be at risk of an irregular heartbeat and osteopprosis in the long term. It's not something I'd advise taking without medical supervision.

  2. When this happened to me, I took Synthroid. It is not expensive, and seemed to help. It really helps to regulate the thyroid, and it brought mine back within the normal range.

  3. Under your circumstance,I suggest here for you to have a visit.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  4. Synthroid.  For adverse effects, please check with a bona fide reference like PDR about the adverse effects of Levothyroxine as it's not a benign agent.
