  1. Bollocks!!!

    Salt Water All The Way.........

  2. Don't listen to those who says salt water. If you're on here you're obvisouly looking for a fast why to cure these things.

run the tap, wet your finger, dab ur finger in some salt and dab the salt on you ulcer. I just did it to mine 10minutes ago. Gawd it stings and my eye were watery but its well worth it. Heals in like a day or two. Do this 3-4 times a day.

Perfect ways to avoid ulcers at all is to get enough sleep, don't eat alot of spicy, fried food, takeaways, crisps, chips, chocolates. Drink more water and eat fruit.

  3. either bonjela or just get a glass of water, pour salt into it, take a mouthful and rinse your mouth around where the ulcer is.  dont swallow it or you ll be sick

  4. you can't go wrong with bonjela

  5. Although not a direct answer to your question, I think you should be looking at why you are getting them in the first place. Often, mouth ulcers are your bodies way of telling you that in general, you are a bit run down. Focus in on getting more sleep, eat well and get lots of iron. May sound like a house wife's common sense approach, but trust me, it works.

  6. try the new igloo better than bonjela

  7. Ya saltwater is a great home remedy for canker sores and mouth ulcers.  You should probably identify what is causing them though.  It is usually a food allergy.

  8. try Carbosan Gel...it's brill..

  9. I read that TCP helps. And Milk of Magnesia.

I tried them and they seemed to take the pain away for a while but it does hurt like h**l when you first put it on!!

I've been trying to find a cure for a while now..it's difficult!

  10. definatly bonjela it can be brought at a supermarket or chemist for around £2-3

  11. Bonjela definatley boots and superdrug sell it

  12. Salt and vinegar crisps are good-try a packet

  13. Salt water is the best matey. It's the cheapest as well.

  14. bonjela

  15. bonjela, and use antiseptic mouth-wash

  16. An ulcer.

An ulcer is usually a sore that is hard to heal and painful.

But what your descibing doesn't sound like an ulcer.

In case your not explaining it well I will go with the ulcer.

Get some warm water. Put a decent amount of salt in it and stir so it disolves some.

Rinse your mounth with this 4 x daily.

    SPIT THE WATER OUT!!!!!

You can get some Bongela Gel which is what they use for babies who are teething and adults with ulcers.

    It contains a local anaesthetic.

You can get it at supermarkets and chemists.

Or there is Oragel, available only at chemists and only if the above have failed.

It has not anaesthetic in it and at FIRST it APPEARS to blister the area around the ulcer, but then the ulcer is gone.

If all fails, you can go to the Doctor for a prescription of a low dose anti-biotic.
