We took our two cats to the vet and we were given Drontal worming tablets to give the cats. Since we couldn't figure out how to get the cats to take this medicine, the vet said to bring the cats in and they would give the cats the medicine.
My question is, is this Drontal a frequently given medicine to worm cats? The lady at the vet said they just shoved the tablet down the cat's throat. Those tablets look kind of large to go down a cat's throat. I was just wondering if this is common practice or if there is something better. (She did say they had a liquid, but it didn't take care of a certain kind of worm. I forget which one she said.)
