What is the best memory card?

My digital camera didn't come with a memory card and i was wondering what is the best memory card i should get with a polaroid i830 digital camera?

Any name brand card will be fine with your camera (San Disk, Kingston, Transcend, PNY, etc).  You do not need to go with higher priced "fast" cards, because even a standard card is faster than your cameras sensor writing speed.

Sandisk invented SD flash memory cards and is the best brand.  Kingston is also a good brand.  

You should buy a 4 GB SDHC card (the "HC" stands for high capacity) of any reputable brand.  Older (standard) SD cards had only up to 2 GB capacity.
